About

Senior developer,
independent by design.

I build fast, findable, honest websites that win work for the people who own them.

I am a senior software engineer. Full time I build and maintain websites for a digital marketing agency that serves mortgage lenders, which means I live in the details of performance, conversion, and content that has to rank. On the side I take on a small number of contract projects where I can own the whole build.

I work end to end: information architecture, design in the browser, a typed front end, a headless CMS the client can actually run, and the deploy pipeline behind it. If you want one person who can take a project from a blank repository to a fast site in production, that is the work I like most.

Senior Software Engineer

Kaleidico · Remote / Michigan

Full-time senior developer at a digital marketing agency specializing in mortgage lenders. I build and maintain the web platforms behind lead generation for lending brands: marketing sites, landing page systems, headless CMS architectures, and the analytics that proves what works.

  • Built and maintain production sites for national mortgage lending brands
  • Headless CMS architectures (Sanity, WordPress) powering multi-site content operations
  • Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals work directly tied to lead volume
  • Internal tooling and automation that shortens the path from idea to shipped page

Contract Software Engineer

Ongoing contract work for small businesses and professional firms: design, build, launch, and the unglamorous parts that make a site actually perform, from analytics and structured data to email deliverability and content pipelines.

  • End-to-end builds: brand, design system, development, launch, measurement
  • Specialty in professional services: legal, accounting, home services, education
  • Automated content and publishing systems that keep sites alive after launch

How I work

Four things you can count on.

01

Start with the outcome

Before a line of code, I get clear on what the site is for and who it has to convince. Design decisions get easier when there is a goal to measure them against.

02

Build it to last

Typed, tested, and boring in the right places. I favor tools that will still be maintainable in three years over whatever is trending this quarter.

03

Performance is a feature

Fast is not a nice-to-have. I ship static-first, measure Core Web Vitals, and treat every kilobyte and every layout shift as a choice.

04

Communicate like a partner

You will always know what I am working on, what is blocked, and what I need from you. No silence, no surprises at launch.
